Taking the confusion out of driving

Class Information

When registering for on line class it is important the e-mail is filled in and is correct due to this is where the online invite will be sent. Additional information will be sent via e-mail approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of class, this information will be sent to the e-mail used on the registration form as well. The contracts will need to be printed, signed and then sent back to Drivers Training 101 via USPS to PO Box 8476, Rochester, MN. 55903 or  via e-mail. The classroom link will be sent out approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the first day of class.

***Please note - Payment in full and signed contracts must be received prior to the start of class. 

You must have a working computer with a working Mic & Camera. Your camera will have to be on the entire 3 hour class showing the students face. 


The class instructor will be teaching from the Minnesota Drivers Manual via on line, along with all quizzes will be on line. It will be up to the student whether or not they will want to print the quiz and the manual or follow along on line. 

FYI: If you are signing up for class and you are 14 years of age, you will not be able to take the written permit test until you turn 15 years old. By law you can take the 30 hours of classroom at the age of 14, although you are not permitted by law to take the written permit test until your are 15. 

After you have finished the 30 hours of class you will receive your blue card in the mail. Please keep this in mind when you are scheduling your permit test, you will need your blue card with you when you arrive at the DMV to take the written test. 

Our pricing is based on thirty (30) classroom hours and six (6) behind the wheel hours, taken in (4) four one and one half (1 1/2) hour sessions. Our contracts are an 18 month contract, our goal as a company is for each student to learn at their own pace. We do not like to push any student through. 

The total cost is $375.00 per student.

PAC (Graduated Drivers License Law) Thursday, December 5, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Does require parents/guardians to register, class will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. The link to the on line PAC will be sent out by 5:45 p.m. to the e-mail in the registration.
